Service Alert for Route:

  • All Bronx express, limited, local, and select buses are running with delays in both directions due to snow removal in the Bronx.
    Allow additional travel time.
  • Bx40 and Bx42 buses are detoured due to NYPD activity on East Burnside Ave between Anthony Ave and Ryer Ave.
    Westbound Bx40 and Bx42 buses will not serve the East Burnside Ave/Valentine Ave and East Burnside Ave/Grand Concourse stops.

    Eastbound Bx40 and Bx42 buses will not serve the East Burnside Ave/Ryer Ave and Valentine Ave/E 178th St stops.

    While detoured, Bx40 and Bx42 buses in both directions will make stops as requested along E Tremont Ave and Grand Concourse.

    Note: Bus arrival information may not be available while buses are detoured.
